🎧 If you're someone who spends a lot of time in Notion, then customizing your workspace with widgets can be a fantastic way to jazz up your daily work routine! Adding Spotify to your Notion page or database entry is an awesome way to create a personal and exciting workspace.
Adding the Spotify widget does not require any custom code or set-up and takes less than 2 minutes! Just follow this quick guide to embed the Spotify player and voila! You are all hooked up!
→However, it's worth noting that the functionality is somewhat limited, allowing you to only listen to 30-second clips of songs. You will have to click into your Spotify and play the playlist from the platform itself for the full versions. If this sounds super annoying- There are other options, such as embedding an Apple Music or SoundCloud playlist instead.

Step One
Open your Spotify App or website and click into the playlist you wish to embed. You have a choice of two backgrounds and sizes right inside the embed area
Step Two
Open Notion to the page you wish to embed the Spotify playlist on and choose “Audio Embed” from the drop-down options.
You can play around with the size and location of where you want the widget to be on the page.
